Salvation Army band visits Links View

A Busy December!

We’ve had a busy December here at Links View!

Residents enjoyed celebrating the festive season, making the most of the chance to sing and be merry!

Early in the month, Just Good Friends were back for their now regular sing-a-long session. Everyone had a great time joining in with classics from Elvis, Nat King Cole, Vera Lynn and many more favourites.

We also enjoyed a visit from the Salvation Army band. Lots of residents gathered in the dining room for an uplifting Christmas service which they all thoroughly enjoyed. As a bonus, £70 was also collected for the Salvation Army.

Party Time in a Busy December!

And so the last month of the decade continued in the celebratory vein! The middle of December saw everyone gathering again for the residents Christmas party.

A magnificent buffet was created by our very own in-house chef, enjoyed along with lots of beer and wine!

A variety of artists entertained everyone including our own Carl (the handyman) singing for the residents. He does a great rendition of Frank Sinatra.

All in all it’s been a very festive month, with everyone getting into the spirit, enjoying good company and entertainment.

Better than Living Alone

Life at our mature living complex certainly beats living alone and spending your Christmas feeling lonely. It’s the best of both worlds too, because you’ve got your own front door to close when you want peace and quiet!

Do you know someone who would enjoy life at Links View? It’s got to be one of the best retirement communities here on the Fylde Coast, where you’re safe but independent.
